Get a great look back at what was accomplished during Wisconsin’s Road Construction season in 2023. We’ll begin with host Stuart Keith meeting up with Craig Thompson, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to follow up on a major road construction project near Madison WI along with a review of some of the major road projects from around the state. We’ll also meet up with President of the Wisconsin Operating Engineers Terry McGowan to review how members of Local 139 completed the Hwy 12/18 project that involved a new bridge overpass, the installation of roundabouts, water management and the reclamation of adjacent land. We’ll finish the show in Coloma WI at the Wisconsin Operating Engineers Training Center and meet with Robb Kahl from the Construction Business Group to see how high school students throughout Wisconsin are getting a first hand look at becoming an Operating Engineer.
