Every fall, UA 400 has Apprentice Signing Day when new apprentices sign their contracts to begin their 5 year training program in plumbing, steamfitting, pipe fabrication or HVAC service. UA 400 Apprentices need to be 18+ years old, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid drivers license, a passing grade on the Apprentice Aptitude Test and a clean drug test. Apprentices are paid while they train on the job with UA 400 signatory contractors, as well as classroom instruction at their state-of-the-art Training Center. In today’s video, we’ll watch a previous ceremony as 23 new UA 400 apprentices signed their contracts to begin their training. #JoinUA400 #UAApprenticeships
