You may have seen in the news that Mark Gottlieb has resigned as Wisconsin’s Transportation Secretary after telling state lawmakers that Gov. Walker’s budget would cause the state’s roads to deteriorate. Mr. Gottlieb, who was a civil engineer for 20 years before being elected to the Legislature, was a champion for improving transportation infrastructure in Wisconsin and we at Building Wisconsin Blog salute him and thank him for his service.
Today’s video from the Building Wisconsin TV series features Secretary Gottlieb along with Lead Engineer Ryan Luck for the Milwaukee Zoo Interchange Project. We also meet with Terry McGowan from Operating Engineers Local 139 to learn more about their role on these projects and how the members of Local 139 are doing their part in Building Wisconsin.
