Spring is here which means strong storms with heavy rain. Rain gardens soak up and filter storm water runoff keeping pollutants out of our natural waterways. In today’s video from Building Wisconsin TV, Karen Sands from MMSD shows host Stuart Keith how to install a rain garden. On this project, Mid City Plumbing & Heating disconnects an older home’s drain tile system that is feeding rain water into the sewer and re-directs that water into a sump pit to pump it out into the yard.
