Join host Stuart Keith from Building Wisconsin TV as we meet up with the members and contractors of Ironworkers Local 8 at the Baird Center Project (formerly the Wisconsin Center) in Milwaukee, WI. We’ll see first-hand what it’s like to be one of the “Cowboys in the Sky” and all the facets of work covered by the Ironworker trade. From massive still beams being placed to all the rebar and reinforcements needed to build a massive structure, Ironworkers Josh Kettle and Josh Janis from JP Cullen take us on a super cool tour. We’ll also head to the Ironworkers Local 8 training center in Neenah, WI to meet up with Business Manager Charlie Falkner and Apprenticeship Coordinator Rich Hanson to learn about starting a career as an Ironworker and the training that goes into this building trade.
