The 2023 UN Water Conference, the first in a generation, mobilized Member States to take action and bring clean water solutions to a global scale. An important issue for many countries is the replacement of lead water service lines. Here in Wisconsin, we’re set to receive $139 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill to upgrade drinking water infrastructure throughout the state, including replacing lead pipes. In this video from Building Wisconsin TV, we show how a residential lead water service line is replaced with Plumbers Local 75 contractor Mid City Corporation.
