More than $42 billion has been set aside for internet expansion under the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment Program. To that end, Federal regulators are publishing a new map showing where broadband internet is and isn’t available across the country. Internet advocates are encouraging rural residents to check the accuracy of the interactive map and to let the FCC know if the internet in their area doesn’t match what’s on the map.
