The new Steamfitters Local 601 Training Center in Madison was the site for the Wisconsin Pipe Trades Apprenticeship Contest held last week. Apprentices from around the state competed in a number of exercises requiring exacting tolerances. Union leaders, participating contractors and a handful of state legislators were on hand to observe the competition.
