Gov. Evers and the Department of Workforce Development celebrated National Apprenticeship Week by announcing that Wisconsin’s Registered Apprenticeship Program has reached a record 16,384 enrolled apprentices. K-12 schools in Wisconsin are increasingly being incentivized to expose students to a full range of career options before leaving high school. And more students are choosing apprenticeships over college for a good salary and benefits while learning on the job and at state-of-the-art training centers with no lingering student loan debt.
