WRTP BIG STEP is a training program that helps adults with job and career placement in the building trades. In 2013, WRTP served 1,943 people in Milwaukee. Of that group, 939 received job training and 888 were placed in jobs with an average wage of $16.92 an hour. In 2014, WRTP opened an office in Madison and is sponsoring a Careers In Construction Job Fair Thursday, April 7 from 3 to 6 pm at Commercial Avenue Campus, Building B, 2125 Commercial Avenue in Madison.
