Kids Building Wisconsin returned for it’s 6th year to McKee Farms Park near Madison on Saturday. The event featured big construction equipment and hands-on exhibits highlighting the many exciting careers in the construction industry as well as food, fun and lots of chances to win prizes. Kids Building Wisconsin is designed to show kids and their families the exciting potential that a construction career offers and lay the groundwork to combat the skilled worker shortage facing our state. It also elevates the image of the industry and celebrates those in it. In today’s short video from Building Wisconsin TV, Plumbers Local 75 member Jim S., plumbing foreman for a 30-story high rise condominium, explains how water mains are piped through the building.
