The Dylin, a luxury “Aparthotel,” recently opened in Madison’s Capitol East District. The 55 unit property has thoughtfuly deigned accommodations ranging from studios to five-bedroom apartments. All units feature full kitchens with modern appliances, in-room washer/dryers and spacious living areas. In this video from Building Wisconsin TV, we take a construction tour of The Dylin. Host Stuart Keith starts with developer Mike Metzger from McGrath Property Group who explains the Aparthotel concept. We also learn about the construction process and some of the challenges general contractor Stevens Construction and plumbing contractor Mattox Plumbing had to overcome. Plumbing Foreman Christina Breitlow gives a tour of the project and Plumbers Local 75 apprentice Kayleigh Woyach, who also worked on the project, shares her experience in starting a plumbing career right out of high school.
