In this video from Building Wisconsin TV, we learn about the training process for becoming a cement mason in Wisconsin with Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons Local 599 as host Stuart Keith travels to their training centers in Milwaukee and Madison. Stu meets with Business Manager Kilah Engelke to learn how to apply and what a cement finishing apprenticeship includes. We’ll then meet with Training Instructor Jerred Simonson to learn about the curriculum for each year. And finally, we’ll meet first year, second year and third year apprentices to hear about their experiences as members of OPCMIA Local 599.
