Big Step Partners With Madison Metro School District

WRTP Big Step is a training program that helps with job and career placement in the building trades. As reported in this Capital Times article, Big Step has partnered with the Madison Metropolitan School District for a program called Career Pathways In Construction. Over two weeks, Big Step brings in trade workers to four Madison high schools for a day of hands-on learning in the trades for middle and high school students.

In today’s video from the Building Wisconsin TV series, host Stuart Keith meets with WRTP President Earl Buford and Rashawn Spivey from Hero Plumbing at the Plumbers 75 Training Center in Milwaukee.
